Does anyone else have lonely birthdays?

Every year whenever it's my birthday.. No one remembers it.. My parents forget about it, and say, "Oh god, it's your birthday? How old are you now?"... At facebook i have 300+ friends, and I put the day of my birthday down, and only one person said Happy Birthday which was my best friend in school.. Does this ever happen to you? I hate celebrating birthdays i hate when my friends make big deal out it, and the least, it should be my parents that should be celebrate, not me i don't understand birthdays woohoo

No, I don't mind it. I don't really like the rush and everybody making a big deal out of it. I don't put it up on Facebook, but once some of my close friends say happy birthday, it spreads like wildfire.

I celebrate my bday, but I don't make much of a big deal out of it. Just cake and then after school (if my bday is on a weekday) I go to the mall and spend my money. And lol, I only have about 100 friends and I never use facebook and a bunch of people still posted on my wall about it when I checked.

I don't like making a big deal out of birthdays. I try to keep it as much of a secret as possible. I even tell my family not to do anything.

There are only a few people who even know when my birthday is. I tend to not celebrate or do anything special though so it's my fault when no one says Happy Birthday. It's just .. another day of the year to me.

If they can't even remember to say 3-4 Words, "Happy Birthday [-insert first and possibly last name here-] then they aren't the kind of people you would like to hang around, unless they're super busy, but they're not superman so that's not possible. Your parents are old, they have to work and they have to pay for the bills, etc. Instead you should be the young adult and say thank you to your parents every year when it's your birthday.

Birthday parties are all bad. It either has to be huge for like the whole grade, or just 1 or 2 people. Everyone gets butt hurt over not getting invited.
