Ugh D/C within 5 mins (ingame maple)

idk whats wrong with it, i can get in maple, play 5 mins then d/c getting a popup saying Maplestory is not working properly, wait for a solution (no pop-ups after clicking cancel) Happened 5 times already... i did that fix thing on website, and i don't know if that was supposed to help or not ._. any suggestions.

Don't ask Nexon. Their response is always "Download it again and reinstall". Have you restarted your computer/scanned for viruses/downloaded windows updates? What OS are you using?

i restarted b4 the 5th time, and just d/c, my computer virus thing has 0 viruses on it atm.

This happened to me (Vista) except instead of 5 minutes it was like 50 seconds and then Maple suddenly closes, no error messages or anything at all, just closes. This was after the October/Halloween patch but I re-downloaded Maple and it doesn't crash anymore.

so did you redownload it or no? if so, im not too sure, that fixed it for me.

im using vista. it was working fine yesterday but now it just d/c me. i didn't redownload maple.

I get the same thing while on my Mac with Parallels/Vista. I do on my Windows XP comp aswell, I just don't get a message. Edit: I didn't download the thing on the site, but on my Mac computer I freshly re-downloaded maple on the day of this weeks patch, ever since the last patch I've been getting this, should hopefully be fixed with tomarrow night's server check.

Jumping excessively makes me D/C, therefore I cannot go to Typhons. DARNIT! And Run as Adminstrator makes the game crash. It didn't work until I unchecked it. Im using 7.

aAznGuy Works perfectly fine for me and I'm using 7 too. :| Got the latest Windows Updates and everything. Drivers are up to date, cards are up to date. Also, all my D/C problems were fixed when I started maple from the website instead of GameLauncher.exe Try that too.

i dont have a maplestory.exe file? or is it just the mushroom icon

The name of it will be viewed as MapleStory ".exe" is the extension. Yes, it is the Mushroom icon, but GameLauncher has the same icon so make sure you right click on "MapleStory" not GameLauncher.

It depends somewhat on the map. All JQ maps have consistently disconnected me, though it seems normal killing/training is fine. It's strange.

Install Linux mint, that will fix everything.
