Vicious Hammer, Glitch? Or what?

So, I've never used a vicious hammer before, but I got one for free from the GM thing where you can win one. I decided, what's to lose, and scrolled my staff. Well, all weapons start with 7 slots right? Isn't the vicious hammer suppose to add a slot? Maybe I do not understand how it is suppose to work, but it subtracted a slot instead. The message it popped up even said it added a slot successfully, however, I only have 6 slots. Is this a glitch? Or is it possible to lose a slot? I am a tad irritated as now my weapon is a slot short.

uhh yea thats not supposed to happen o-O its supposed to take a spot from the viscious hammer area under slots...

...o_o This is new. Ticket - forget about it for 1 year - come back and find it hasn't been answered yet - wait another month- Also my tip. DO NOT TOUCH THE STAFF. Equip it etc, but do not dare to use another scroll on it. Wait a sec - You used a hammer while your weapon had 7 slots? You're screwed. Wasn't there a bug anyways with hammers that you can't scroll your weapon if you used a hammer on first slot? Sigh /killthread

No I used it on the lvl 98 dimon, must be the glitch with using it on the first slot I guess. It had 7 slots to start with, figured it'd give it an 8th slot. Oh well.
