maplestory not oppening :{

i just un-installed it today, then installed it again and now it won't open...ive tried everything i can think of and still got nothing, this has happend before but it should of been working by now too. cant get it any help? the hackshield fully finishes then ends and then nothing happends so i eventually end the maplestory process...anyone know how to fix it?

if your saying the hack sheild wont come up(to other commenters) then end the proccess. i had the prpblem where i had to end the proccess every time i restart the game when i close it by MY will. ( to ts) i dont know what your problem is. im the type of person to be there and try things till i get it right. if im not there i cant think straight.

same thing with me! :< the hack shield loads but nothing happens after. -sigh- after i uninstall maple it not installing back noooooooooo~

I hade the same thing. But then in my attempt to fix it i disabled my internet security program just to start the game. Thent the game started xD after that i turned on my security system back to normal. Every since that time Maple story turnes on normaly even without disabling Internet security and/or anit-virus. What im thinking is that the internet security and/or anti-virus kept the HS from Updating therefor resulting in not letting the game start. Hope this helped EDIT: I am using kaspersky internet security/anti-virus

I had this problem i had Microsoft loopback adapter on and when i disabled that MS started to work (you should find it some where from control panel from network settings or smthing) theres a thread telling you more detailed informaton about this in nexon forums but im sorry that i cant send you a link cause im new need to wait for 30 days. Hope this helps

Mine just froze when it went to full screen (couldn't see anything but black), and didn't close by itself or anything, but when I moved the MS folder to desktop, then downloaded HShield (it was programed to install in C:Nexon) it ended up with a HShield folder, and I moved that folder into my MS folder on the desktop, replacing everything, then I clicked on the gamelauncher, and WALAH it didn't freeze in full screen Hope this helps ):

Check your anti-virus, sounds very typical
