Can the effect of owl spirit apply to bosses?

as the sentence states, can owl statue be used to 1hit kill a boss?

Owl can't, but, believe it or not, my Cruel ring killed King Yeti in Mushroom Kingdom in one hit (120k damage) Idk if that means anything but yeah just wanted to share.

Killing King Yeti is probably within its boundaries. Max damage you can do in an ohko is 199,999 (did it accidentally while wacking) and I'm not sure if it counts as a boss...?

You can kill the boss in Stage 3 in the Ghost PQ with Owl Spirit.
