Why is maple so hard to quit

Why? i tried giving my account away, givng all my stuff to noobs, enhancing my stuff like it explodes. and each time like a month later i regret doing it and pay around 200-300$ to get it all back. Why do u think its hard to quit?

idk same things happen to me except i dont sell account or pay to get back i just quit and then about 2-3 months later i cant resist myslef and i come back i SWEAr this game is like a drug!

because its addicting, and so many people have put like years of their life into it... I got my dep star scammed, so I told myself I was quit. I started playing Halo Reach to take my mind off of it...and guess what? A week later I'm playing again...

Maple was my first online game, and i always come back to it. Maybe thats the reason. I cant really get into anything else like latale, dragonica, etc. Even my ps3 cant hold my attention xD

I know, I 'quit' a few times but always ended up coming back >.< I think it does really have something to do with that I've already put so much time and effort in this game, that I'd hate to see it all go to waste. Plus, I'd miss all the awesome people I've met on maple =D

Because of the sense of accomplishment. Us as people like the feeling when we accomplish something, and if we quit Maplestory, we lose that feeling and we get a urge to try and get it back. It's a continuous cycle where the more you play, the more you feel accomplished, and the more you feel accomplished, the more you play. Although some people manage to break the cycle with the help of self-discipline and eventually quit this game.

I think its cause you can always do more things. In your head, you plan out what to do in the future, and you wanna obtain those, which just leds to more planning. Also, you can never be the best, and things always change. theres always updates. Maplestory is really broad with many things to do. But if you really do wanna quit, i would quit without giving away stuff, if you just cant play anymore and really wanna quit forever. change your password into something random and make sure you never remember it, or let one of your friends change it for you so you wouldnt know

i broke the motherboard of my computer and removed all graphics card of all my computers just in case... now i quit maple (for good) and now im in college taking a 6 year medical degree gl to you my friend - im there with ya til the end
