If you're using a regular speed weapon, this will be your speed(s): Regular at 1st job. Fast at 2nd job. Faster at 3rd job. Fastest at 4th job. Weapons: Bracelets (they use their powers to extend them into glowing chains) EDIT: People were saying how you shouldnt kill the black mage, since this is only the 3rd hero, so I turned kill into seal. He'll be released AGAIN once the other heroes come out. Story/Beginner Gameplay A hundred years ago, a group known as the "Black Wings" terrorized the Maple World. No one could stop them, as they were too powerful. But finally, 5 brave heroes decided to take a stand. They grabbed their weapons and trained their skills, and then finally made their assault. After countless battles, the heroes were forced to seal the Black Mage away, due to their lack of power to defeat him. But as he was being sealed away, he implanted one final attack that sent a curse or killed them Aran was frozen into an iceberg The Dragon Master was killed, but his dragon was reborn, and his successor became the new hero The Ian was given a curse to be sealed away into the shadows But one day, the Ian was finally released by an eagle, one that was aware of the past story. He decided to take him under his wing (no pun intended) and try to help him become the hero he was before This is where the journey begins: There's a cutscene of you being released from the shadows by the eagle/hawk. You're in a gloomy city, similar to Kerning, but a little more modern. Then it finally goes into gameplay, and you talk to the hawk. He tells you everything, and says you guys must find a shelter before it starts raining. A quest begins, and you must follow the arrows into the broken subway. This is your new home. He tells you that you could probably brush up a few skills here, so you do your BEGINNER quests (1-10) in the subway. Your default weapon is a knife and your clothes is a t-shirt and shorts. 1st job advancement and skills Once you get to level 10, you talk to him. Suddenly, shadows appear around you and advance you into 1st job. He says that since you're the ruler of shadows, the darkness will appear once you're strong enough and advance you. Your 1st job default weapon is a chain bracelet that can extend into giant chains if you command them to. So he says that the subway is too easy, so you go up and start fighting gangsters (lolwut?). He says that as a hero, you must protect people, so he says to start off with protecting citizens. Once you get to level 13 (after doing 3 quests), the cops find you and reward you. They say you helped them, so they give you a 50,000 meso reward (starting money). Oh, and btw, the hawk will always fly down to you every |
