Anyone else have the "healer instinct" or at least know how to deal with it? i can't play any other class in parties because of it. EDIT: should have made it clear what it is basically the hp bars above your parties head bother you because you try and heal them but being a different class you don't have heal

i'm not sure if i have the "healer instinct" but i do have problems playing other classes now that i've gone cleric for a while. in any other class i'm always trying to heal myself. i always forget that i need hp pots or to even pay attention to my hp. many deaths have come because of that.

above yeha same thing but what i do is put my pot on my heal button and im trying to heal over people by spamming my pot butten but i guess it takes pratice.

I find myself reaching for the heal key and stopping myself. Haha. the worst of it is zombify. That's when your "healers instinct" is at it's worst. You think it's your job to keep everyone else alive, but you can't heal because any heal could be the death of your party. My heal is right above the arrow keys, next to my pots, and I literally take my hand off the keyboard, and just lay. Finger on the Ginger ale key.

i had that befor my cleric was hacked and deleted....... i made a F/p i died alot trying to heal the zombies......... wasted alot of pots too....

I hate healers instinct. I mean, when I'm on my hubbys bishop and I see a black part on the hp bar, I do feel an impulse to heal, but I don't act on it if someones zerking. When I'm zerking and a noob bish/ priest keeps healing me, I find it EXTREMELY annoying when I have to explain countless times how I need to keep my hp under 50%. Although some of my bishop friends do enjoy healing me for the laughs...=___=

I have flash jump instinct. I always jump and press my fj hotkey on my brawler and sin.

Lol i always hate it when drks are ragging on me for healling them mostly at scar runs so take my hand away from the keyboard to stop my self from healing and use my emrgancy pots. With i use when heal isnt needed or lagging or on a rope.

It's annoying, but being in a party with a DrK and ranged attackers is a finnicky situation for the healer. There's always that one erson telling you to spam heal them, and the DrK obviously doesn't want heal. No offence to you, ot any other player at all, but that's why I avoid partying unless it's with my friends. It's simply too frustrating when you can only heal some of your party, especially at bosses like zakum when everyones clustered together. (I attack in situations like that)

Yeah,it bothers me when im playing my hermit whenever i see someone's HP goes down i instantly hit "X" (My Heal key on my priest) which makes me use Avenger LOL

yes, even though i have a n00b cleric i have the "healers instinct" When i play my even n00bier page i always start trying to tele. and start slash blasting some vicious air Also, when i'm in a party and see the hp thing go down i always think, "OMG heal!heal!heal!"

I have the teleport instinct, when ever i'm on my DrK and i want to move fast i just hit the teleport hotkey, and i end up using rush (same key on my drk). then i would jsut slap myself in the face
