Why is Astaroth pq always so dead?

i know its not that great of a pq and the constant stunning sucks, but 9.5/10 times i go to pq i never find a party (this is in bello btw). i dont like how cpq, and pypq have become the main focus for most level 30~50 characters and they stray from actual 'team building' pq's

After people finish the quest, there isn't much of a point in doing it.

Well, Bellocan has never been too populous of a server. It may have something to do with the current untradeability of the gas mask. That probably discouraged a lot of people. Plus, making the gas mask and doing the fight are just too much trouble, considering the rarity of an astaroth weapon (let alone a useful one.)

I just did 2 pqs yesterday, but it cost me like 50 unagis per pq and the rewards aren't very good.

Because most maplers don't enjoy the slower more interesting things about maple it's always about leveling as fast as possible lol

The rewards aren't too useful given that Maple Weapons come ten levels later.

alot of people would much rather fly through the lvls since they can already afford much stronger weapons

1st- pypq is for40+ 2nd- astraroth is for 39 or below 3rd- the exp sucks, only get exp from boss 4th- it mainly for quest, not really a party quest- just need 3 ppl 5th- ppl only kill it for the drop which has crappys rates of dropping 6th- wep sucks now, mainly for lvl 25s 7th- its not worth wasting time doing killing it 7 reason why no1 does it

I only do it for the 10 fame you get after completing it. :D

Whenever I did it I usually found someone to do it with. I think you're just going at bad times. Most parties start in Sleepywood.

I usually find people in Sleepywood first and then tell them to go to Astaroth's place, but that was before DBs came out. The pre-quests were also a pain -.-

Personally, I like to level by questing rather than PQs - it's just a personal preference, I'm more of a solo player. But since the quest for killing Astaroth gives me 10k exp, I guess this PQ is worth doing for me. >_>
