% Crit Rate on Weapons?

I have a dagger with % crit rate on it. Now, I am a shadower, so I dont have any base crit rate or damage. My question is, what % dmg are the crits from my weapon? It seems like the damage the crits do is always the same as my normal attacks.

I need to know this as well. I have a 4% crit staff. It might be 250%? That's what it seems like.

From what I've seen the added damage is 0. You're crit rate is increased which is nice if you have one of the adventurer rings or thorns/se. If you don't it's kinda useless unless you have aninherent crit or are a mage (roughly doubles for mages?).

i was wondering this as well. im a 101 DB and my katara has 4% crit im fairly certain that its a 4% chance of crit, i just dont no by how much exactly it increases. maybe thats 4% as well? idk, does anyone know?

It increases how often you do crits, not the damage i believe

Yea the crit that we do hit isnt as cool as the NL one,but basically it goes like this: If you normally hit like 2-5k's on your SB your actual crit could activate on any of those numbers,for example,if you hit 2k and it activates on that hit you will hit in the area of 2-4k more (this is from personal experience from someone who had 8% crit on his weapon ,but i could be wrong with concrete numbers) so your total crit hit damage on a normal 2k hit would be like 3-6k. For me sometimes i can hit 8k with a normal SB and i hit 10k one time as a crit hit so yea i hope that made a little bit more sense?

But the thing is, take boomerang step for example 1/3 of the time the crit is higher then the other 1/3 its the same 1/3 its lower and it never hits a number on a crit that it wouldnt hit on a normal attack

Example: If you're a warrior (no inherent crits pre-BB) and you have both the Crit Ring and crit from a weapon you should get a chance to do more than your normal attack because your Critical Ring also adds a % for higher damage.

I have an 8% crit on my arcanon and I definitely hit over *200% numbers. For example, if I'm healing undead I'll do ~4-5k a few times and then all of a sudden an 11k crit will happen. I also hit 15k with SR, which usually does around 6-7k.

Like i said,the crit hit that we do get isnt that good,but when matched up with lets say SE or Thorns i think it helps it along pretty well,maybe not,But i can tell you that there is a difference,its just by 500-4k which isnt that great Lol but its there. I know from personal experince.

i suggest just waiting till BB patch comes, cause then with the 5% crit rate everyone gets (which will affect your damage), %crit on on ur dagger will have a greater effect

So the general verdict is Yes, the crits from increased crit rate do more damage
