Trade hack doesnt exist >.< stop making these pointless topics about ("ZOMHG TRADE HAX") its server sided and it involves packet editing wich is highly illegal and if you get caught you will have to pay heavy fines and you can go to jail and stuff, uce cant trade hack simply bcs its only a program what involves changing MEMMORY numbers. it can only controle things on your own computer and not on other computers, the best you can get is when u trade and u change a code and you auto press trade, but then still the other user on the other side of the world has to accept the trade, and i highly doubt he will. Fact: what stupid hacker ---> script kiddy or noob cheator leecher w/e, will go risk a chance of getting into jail or pay heavy fines just to get some pixels of a 2-d game? think about it.... Trade hacking is IMPOSSIBLE. Let me reinforce my statement. Packet editing is the process of taking packets that are being sent by YOUR computer to their server; and stopping them midsend,and editing those packets; then resending them. Thus, the changes affect the ENTIRE game client, not just that specific client. Mass large scale changes, such as making the cancel button an accept button are IMPOSSIBLE, as the game would probably end up overloading. The legal stuff is true; packet editing can result in suing, fines, and a whole load of other crap. The grounds to sue is that you're actually editing copy-righted work, which is illegal. There's a few other things, but Im too tired to remember them. Also, packet editing is incredibly advanced. The chances of someone being able to do it; and playing MS; are INCREDIBLY SLIM. This is high, government level activity. ty nuage for sorting that out

packet editting does happen in maple story, just cause its illegal doesnt make it impossible, stealing is illegal and yet it happenes, ive seen packed editting my self.

Trade hacks do exist. They just happen to be ultra rare from what i've heard.

Yes its illegal. Not high fines, no jail time. They have no way of tracking you anyways. The only LOGICAL way is IP address but thats easy to change.
