post BB mage hierarchy

well after reading all the bb updates it looks like the power sequence for the mage classes will be battle mage>evan>i/l>f/p>bishop does this seem right im open to ideas

Due to speed, the other mages have the upperhand and therefor a higher DPM

Normally I'd say I/L > F/P > Evan > Battle Mage > Bishop. But when all the chars are incredibly funded: Battle Mage > F/P > I/L > Evan > Bishop.

[/quote] Hmm, I'm starting to think that as well but even with that funding I would put BMs slightly above or around Archmages. A 200 Battle Mage solo'd zakum in 10:16.

Are people just using highly flawed DPM lists that only focus on one in-game situation to determine a hierarchy? Every class is going to have it's advantages and disadvantages. You cant simply just state AM>Bishop or Battle Mage>Evan, because one class is not completely superior to annother in every situation. And especially with that BS potential system around: Little kid with rich parents who stole their parent's credit card > Everyone else.

[/quote] I agree with ye laddie except fer one thing - potentials. Potential items have the power to make regular people powerful, not just people with 2.1bil mesos. I'm not sure what you want to say about using NX and potential items, is it something related to cubes or something? You don't need those to be strong with a potential item.

[/quote] You need cubes to have half-decent odds of getting good potential items. Otherwise have fun hunting monsters for hundreds of hours just to find one unique item that's below average. Without cubes, it's very difficult to get past +20% stat or so.

If it's above 1k then there is no point in buying them unless you're epic rich or like gambling. I much prefer to hunt for my items and I don't care if they aren't the most powerful items in the game.
