Problem with playing

Hi Basil, I'm stuck at the patching from eMS v65. I tried re-download/re-install, nothing worked. My OS is Vista. Here's a pic from pressing the 'PLAY' button and then 5 minutes later: http://nl.tinypic.com/r/swvax0/7

Try to delete the hackshield folder and then start maple.

had the same problem some months ago.. I think I reinstalled maple and then I right-clicked on maple, into Compatibility and did something there.. But I dunno what i did.. ehe

Uhm, you tried redownload? (detele EVERYTHING with maple) and reinstall? Is your firewall blocking ms? You tried to download with manual patch? If it's no disk activity and the patcher is stuck on same place for a long time, the file is probably corrupted. head to maplestory folder(probably::Nexon or C:Program FilesNEXON or C:Program FilesWizet) the best is to check all three locations to be 100% sure. Generic location is %ProgramFiles%NEXON or %ProgramFiles%Wizet. You will need to copy and paste this in the address bar within Windows Explorer in order to get to these location. Delete these files (if they exist): Make sure you turn on extensions for known file types: In any explorer window, Tools->Folder Options->View, then uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". This way, you can actually see the extensions rather than guessing whether the file is the right one. Patcher.dat Patcher.info Patcher.log Patcher.txt Version.info Restart the client. Most generic, all-inclusive fix: Download the installer and verify it with the information listed below. Uninstall the game from the Add/Remove Programs control panel. Head to the MapleStory folder Most likely location is C:Nexon or C:Program FilesNEXON or C:Program FilesWizet. It is best to check all three locations just to make sure! Generic location is %ProgramFiles%NEXON or %ProgramFiles%Wizet. You will need to copy and paste this in the address bar within Windows Explorer in order to get to these location. Delete everything contained within it. Save your screenshots elsewhere if you have to, but everything else must go! Start the freshly downloaded installer.
