2 line vip weapon = fail?

I just bought a 117 att VIP bow and was wondering, if I pot it and it turns out 2 lines, would this be considered a failure? The big reason why people get VIP equips in the first place is because of the better potentials. If I only got 2 lines, doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

Well, VIP Bow DOES have a very nice ATT bonus, and I really consider the good potential stats just an extra; that's coming from a damage whore. xD

getting 2 lines always hurts a little bit. got 2 lines on my zhem and after 29 cubes i still got nothing good, i hate it

well I bought two vip bw for my page and they both turned out two lines =/ not complaining though, if I cube it to get something decent, I'm happy

There's also that nifty detail about how you don't need any STR to wield the bow. I'm pretty sure that makes it wort more than a normal bow regardless of potential lines.

It doesn't matter if it's 2 lines or 3 lines. As long as it actually gets potentialed and doesn't blow up then you're good

it's just one line although it betters your chance of getting better stats when re-cubing

I believe the point of the Vip weps are mainly for the better attack. as a nice end game and the lines are a bonus, especially if you can't cube. I have a 145m.atk dragon staff, it turned out to be 2 lines but I'm not complaining cause it doesnt change the fact that it's 145m.atk.

[/quote] This is a very nice logic showing that the potencials are just bonus. So be happy that you got that bonus.

[/quote] Unfortunately, I have more than enough STR to equip even a Reverse bow, so that no STR requirement is not that important to me. [/quote] That is also true, but I don't know if the extra 10 att from perfectly scrolling the VIP bow and enhancing it once (with adv. enhance of course) will be worth it though. My Shiner is 155 att with 2 lines (30% boss and 3% all stats) right now. I guess that's why I wanted the extra line, to make it worth scrolling.

tyte07 This is the thing, imo, 3lines is just really a ploy to make you cube more. To get say 30%boss and then 6% (or whatever the % is for the level) dex and another good thing, will take a hell of a lot of cubes. Or you can just settle for X%dex and Y%Dex, X%dex and whatever, or 30%boss and whatever. That third line just increases the odds of you getting something nice on the second line cause that third line will most likely be trash anyways. If you have a good bow, and youre happy with it, just leave it.
