A Really Weird Hack

Alright, so this guy said he was quitting, and was giving away all his stuff. He traded me and showed them, like 13 ATK WG, 10 ATK WG, 4 ATK PAC, and I was like WOW! Then he told me to go to the Hair Salon in Kerning City, and go channel 13. When he entered, he dropped something on that 2nd ledge up in the top left hand corner. Then he sat under the "Preview" sign, and counted to 5. Then he picked up what he dropped earlier. Kerning Hair Salon Then he told my friend to do something. My friend was skeptical, so the hacker/scammer dropped a 13 ATK WG and gave it to him. He then gave him a Deputy Star and a 10 ATK WG. So, my friend believed him and dropped 5 good items. Then he sat under the preview sign, and the hacker/scammer told him to start counting to 5, when he returned back into the Hair Salon. So the hacker/scammer left the hair salon, waited awhile, then came back in, and my friend started counting to 5. After my friend reached "5" he went back and looted the stuff he had dropped. He then received a PAC. So I did the same thing, but with a 6 ATK WG. I sat down under preview, and when he came in, he was on the 2nd floor, like two jumps away from looting my stuff. He then looted my WG, then left. I was really mad D: I had spent 2 months to try to merch up to get a 6 ATK. My friend got some really good stuff from the scammer/hacker, so that lured me in to do it as well, and I lost my 6 ATK WG. But yeah, can anyone explain this hack? EDIT: Long story short, my friend dropped some stuff, and the hacker/scammer gave my friend some items. My friend did not lose any items. However, when I dropped my 6 ATK WG, through some sort of hack, the guy was on the 2nd floor of the Kerning Hair Salon, and looted my 6 ATK WG and ran. Double EDIT: Before you start to flame me "IT'S YOUR FAULT", yes, I acknowledge that this is my own fault for believing this. I should have known, if he was quitting and wanted to give me items, he would've just traded me them from the beginning. I just want to know how this happened.

The hacker left the Kerning Hair Salon, and entered back in on the 2nd floor of the Hair Salon, somehow. He then looted my 6 ATK WG. And you may think it's just a 6 ATK WG, but I worked for 2 months to try to get it.

Your friend was probably in league with the scammer. Either there was a third person hiding somewhere or the scammer used lag (unplugged ethernet or something) to 'teleport' there.

thats a classic "trust" scam with lots of variations. your "friend" was working with the other guy..

The fact is, I want to know how this hack/scam worked out, so I know what to not do in the future. The fact that it's just a 6 ATK WG is irrelevant.
