Decent haste and some questions.

So after watching a DrK video i was motivated to train again! This is basically all about Decent Haste. In my whole entire DK career one thing i couldn't stand about it was how slow and non-agile it was (not including buying a hog). I really wished i had haste all the time and now it seems like i can! I was just wondering how much it is and if someone could explain all the collateral stuff to me and the rental procedures! If i can't even rent them or if no one rents "decent haste" hats how much are they to just buy? Thanks for all the help! P.S. Windia prices please!

I'm sorry that I can't answer all of your questions but I'll do the best I can. Decent Haste is from shoes I believe. The way it works for the rental is, you give the person the money and collateral, and he gives you the shoes. Then you get the skill form the shoes and give them back and he keeps the money you gave to him, and you get the collateral back. The collateral is to make sure you don't have a reason to just run off with the shoes. As for prices, I can't say.

Decent haste is 120% speed and 110% jump *I think* As for collateral, you give them how much it's worth and he gives you the shoes to equip them re-equip a shoe over it, then you give him back the shoes and he gives you back the money. They do this because if you run off with the shoes, your giving away all of your money. And I'm not a windian so I can't help with prices.

Do you know how exactly to obtain the skill? Some people say you equip a shoe over the haste shoe and you get to keep the skill; others say to drop the shoe and the skill will stay with you. Anyone have idea?

I bought Haste for 70m yesterday, it has a collateral of 1b (same with Door). It gives 120% speed and 110% jump. The procedure is as follows: -Give collateral and money in exchange for hat. -Equip the hat -Drop the hat -Pick it up again before the person who's renting gets a chance to pick the hat up ( and run away with ur collateral) -Trade the hat back for the collateral you gave. -? -PROFIT! (as in... USE HASTE) Contact MuppyCross, she rents Haste: 70m, 1b collateral, Door: 100m, 1b collateral, and Hyper Body (Female): 150m, 2b collateral. Glad I could help!

[/quote] wait, im assuming the skill stays with you even after returning the equip? does it stay till you log off or is it permanently part of your character's skills?

[/quote] Uh...if you're using a 70+ common hat, wouldn't it be like...scar? which has to be karmaed each time? so you have to karma it, drop it, then karma it again to trade it back?

Uh you can't hog + attack, with high speed/jump you will lvl about 30-50% faster, there is a very good reason for this
