Help? i/l vs. sins (class vs. class =])

Hey Maplers... I was wondering, after my lvl 82 I/L got boring, if I should retire and start my lvl 33 SiN. I mean I/L are awesome and all but the ice strike / cold beam / thunderbolt is getting truly repetitive Not to mention that the clothes (IMO) are getting uglier and uglier... (Except for the weapons, KAGE FTW) I have a lvl 33 SiN and he is well funded... (3 Pairs of Steelys, 8 Tobis, 7 ATK WG) and I was wondering if i should retire my I/L and make the SiN my main... Thanks =]

Welcome to the world of me. My I/L is semi retired while I play my sin. I just get bored when I play my mage. I'm sick of DT's, they're complete money hogs, and vikings are next, aka hacker mania. So I'm building a hermit, it's pretty fun and sins level extremely fast. I just started getting less than 20% an hour at 63.

i did the exact opposite of you guys, i trained my sin till like lv 33 and relized sins aren't very much fun T.T so i funded my current main (so basically my main used to be my assassin, but now it's my mage) i still work on my sin sometimes

Agreed. Play what's fun for you. When a class gets boring experiment with a new class. Eventually every class will get boring. Then you stop playing. That's MS life for you.

dude i reccomend sins because i have a 3rd job of both i/l and sin and trust me the hermit kicks his (insert body part here) by far

I switch between my Sin and my Cleric. When one gets boring, the other levels faster.

If you're tired of a character with multiple, multiple skills and status effects, are you really going to enjoy a character that really only uses one skill, L7, for 120 levels? Even at 4th job they just throw two extra stars, but it's still all L7. Just a though.

I started off life as a sin -- funded is way better, I thought I was badass with my crappy claws and 5 kumbis back in the day. Oh how naive I was. Then I made a DK strictly to help out friends/priests/our guild and he shot up in levels way too fast -- I basically always have a party between my two chars now and I love it. Play both. Also consider trying areas you wouldn't normally think to, I never thought my DK would get better experience than grims and then I found out gobies were better for a party with MUCH better drops.

i started an i/l found out his stats are amazingly bad started a dit got to 41 and then started a luckless.... i hop between all 3 as my mood changes
