Post BB EXP curve: Might not happen?

I was really looking forward to the exp curve, but oh well. =/ I doubt we'll get it. Last time Nexon threw around the term ''North American Market'', they screwed over DFO's cash shop. It is now a phrase I dread to see coming from Nexon. The time before that, they screwed Mabinogi's cash shop service system. North American Market = Nexon's best interest to make moar money. I know I'll get people in here that are against the exp curve that will flame me, but whatever. The poll still shows that over 50% of the maplers that voted, voted for faster leveling. I don't see why nexon would go against over 50% of polled players. =/

.. If they don't put faster leveling, then there's no point in changing the levels of monsters. That would make leveling slower.

Would they really go against 53% of the MapleStory community and not put in the EXP curve? Anyway, thats one of the main points of the Big Bang for some people.

I personally fail to see what parts of Big Bang are 'incompatible with america' and im pretty certain a lot of people (including myself) wont bother with ms anymore if they pick and choose what our version of BB is going to get. I mean who would still want it if you see videos of the updates on kms, and then you see nexon like 'herp derp gms will only be getting half of those'

Exp curve and changing the monsters around are essentially the same thing. So Nexon could give us one of these since both help out leveling which seems possible. If they go by the poll, which states we want to level faster we may get both but not get Victoria island changed around or skill changes or something. Well noq for the positive side; since we are getting a nerf version of Big Bang..it shouldn't take as long? LOL

the exp change is going to happen. they said that they are listening to the word of the maplers. and during that poll everyone voted for the exp change so they would be doing disservice to their own word to not bring that forth. although nexon is known for their mistakes they are also known for doing right

Nexon has never truly listened to what "we maplers" have to say, however, in the interview with that one mmo site (forgot the name) they already mentioned halving the grind. That is something i don't think they'll remove. There may be some problems with the gMS localized content, seeing that kMS didn't code for any of that. We'll just have to wait and see, quite sure the exp curve is gonna be in there

Seriously think about it. If over half of the players voted for something, and you didn't give it to them, there would be a massive out-cry, followed by a bunch of people quitting. People quitting = less money for Nexon. Also, this "North American Market" includes a bunch of insatiable kids with large sums of disposable income (be it from allowance, or heaven forbid a job! PLEASE don't put our precious snowflakes to work!), that they will spend on 2x cards regardless of the levelling speed, because NOTHING will ever be fast enough for them. People will adjust to the new levelling speeds and then they will feel like that speed is too slow. It happened with the EXPlosion, and it will happen again with Big Bang. People raging about how 25% less EXP to level would mean SOOOO many high levels (how'd that work out?), and that everyone would hit 200 in a week / few days / couple of hours. People will buy 2x cards just because they're there.
