Just because they know about something doesn't mean it's not a problem. And 10 dollars may seem petty, but I'm one of hundreds who've had issues like this in the past who've gotten responses like "Get a better computer, since apparently your brand new $1000 computer with 10x the required specs can't handle a 2d MMO." [/quote] Lets see, 5000 tickets a day, over 3 months and a couple days (around 100), is 50 a day. They probably copy pasta 90% of them, so that leaves 500 tickets left to be answered with an actual response. 500 responses over 100 days is 5 a day. Given they spend an hour (which is a ton of time, I can write a 500 word essay in an hour) on each thing, that means they can do it with one person who does real responses by then. They have a few hundred million dollars a year and they can't afford to pay a dozen employees? You see what is it now? 70% of people disagreeing with Obama? That doesn't mean that they all can do a better job, but they know what a good president is, and they don't believe he is a good president (I think he's fine, don't start a political debate). |

Did you ever heard about remote hack? That and more hacks makes people losing their items/accs too. |

[/quote] Nexon says I can run their game with those specs. I have those specs, so why was I not able to use skills or even move at all 3 months ago? My problem isn't the hackers, its that they don't take responsibility or even attempt to help people with actual problems with their games and real life money that they had spent to keep them running (which had been entirely wasted due to them not being able to do anything with hackers) [quote] kkhachadur : I lost 1b to nexon's server crash. I never said I lost anything from the server crashes (A couple hours of mine and a buddies time entirely going to waste as well as meso lost from the duping). |

Considering the content and thought put into your topic post, I wouldn't be surprised if your ticket wasn't worded well and was just going off on Nexon for your small $10 loss, blaming them for it for some arbitrary reason and demanding the money back. There's no way to prove reasonably well that you actually did get scammed and no way to show exactly how much you lost. Nexon cannot, and will not, compensate your loss. Get over the $10 loss and let them move on to the important stuff like preventing these hackers from doing more damage and fixing bugs. You may think all the idiots wasting hundreds of dollars on cubing gives them enough money to fund a gigantic staff, but even if they're raking in more now than they usually do, that's not guaranteed long-term to stay like that, and they can't keep hiring on more staff. [/quote] I made a few paragraphs of coherent reasonable sentences regarding what happened and provided proof that I was d/c hacked (Oh gee, it happens to be linked as well, how swell). Unless I spent 24k NX to marry someone named VVIlIVWVW so I could have a chance of getting 5k nx from a ticket I sent in? They would know exactly how much I spent give or take a few mil (I bought family 2x rep, but they have the transaction record of the 2x card, and Golden Temple Passes, and whatever else I bought and couldn't use). And I don't think that "all the idiots wasting hundreds of dollars on cubing gives them enough money to fund a gigantic staff," I know that they brought in 600m in 2009, and probably will bring in the same, if not more, this year. "that's not guaranteed long-term to stay like that" Cause they only made 600m last year and are probably gonna bring in 0 dollars this year... right? "and they can't keep hiring on more staff. There's really only so much that more employees can do, anyway." We're talking about answering tickets. One person has no chance of completing 5000 tickets in 10 minutes, but 5000 people probably will, meaning they'll have less of a "high ticket volume" oh and yes, more tickets will be answered. |

[/quote] Give me 600 million USD a year, people who have trained and studied coding for years, and people to do basically everything besides whatever position you want me to be and I would make one a hell of a lot better. People act like Nexon is a single person. It's not. It's hundreds of people who do a mix of: Copy and pasting, putting the codes through google translate, and people who use their hide skill 23 hours and 59 minutes a day, I think they're called GM's. Never seen one though, not sure if they exist. I've been on other servers that have been run illegitimately that have less problems than GMS. I've never had someone come into my map and kill me dozens of times or be d/c'd for 3 hours straight (hell, I've never been d/c'd at all) EDIT: Above 3 months and 8 days... so far |

That is a recent hack and yes we can see people would submit a ticket for that, but before then i believe you coudn't get hacked unless you gave out your info |
