I'm an A/B student in 10th grade...acording to the show I'm not even smarter than a 2nd grader... Since when did 2nd graders start learning about breaking down physical compounds n stuff r u frikken serious man i feel like an idiot these little kids know more than me

Ya, some of those questions aren't ever taught in elementary school. But some of those questions like, "How many sides does a trapezoid have?" and "Which country is to the north of the US?" are just funny since people get them wrong.

The show is rigged and Jeff Foxworthy is a giant d-bag. They purposely take questions from high-school and university level tests and throw them onto the questions.

The show is rigged. I played the game on a CD and lost. What the heck, these little people actually learn about musicians, history, science, etc. in detail? I do not remember this from elementary school. >:[

The history questions on the show and like many of them....those questions and topics aren't even taught and discussed until highschool. It should be, "Are you smarter than a 12th grader?" because that damned bonus question is like highschool level....

i want to go on that show, loose, and instead of saying im not smarter than a 5th grader i want to say "I passed the 5th grade, so go ---- yourself you stupid ----wad this show is rigged so go touch yourself in a darkroom"

I mean there may be genius 5th graders, but they can't learn that much and process that much info in such a short period of time. What kind of horrible human being studies 24/7? Here was my elementary school "Academic Studies" 1st grade: BASIC math(only adding and subtracting) and things like that; it was just math and...some English taught in class? 2nd grade: Multiplication and SOME division, and more English 3rd grade: The basic mathematic operations, some geography, and some BASIC social studies (first president of U.S?, etc) 4th grade: Mental math stuff, we actually start WRITING papers now, like....basic writing skills and stuff like stories 5th grade: we learned the capitals of the 50 states, some more social studies, mental math but with like 2 digit numbers, we wrote like ONE persuasive essay and that was it, and we started reading more, etc etc blablabla, etc etc etc, this was like my Elementary school curriculum, I'm not sure what the rest of the state or nation was taught, but we never learned much in Elementary school. The "smart" 5th graders must have REALLY REALLY liked learning and learned A LOT outside of school, because obviously they weren't taught that in Elementary school, since not much is expected in our younger years. BUT I guess much more has been put into later generations, because my 5 year old cousin has already learned about midpoints in the SECOND grade. We only started learning about that in like.....7th?8th grade?
