Solo Videos, Real or Fake?

Me and some buddies argued about some particular videos of scarlion solos and targas. i contest these videos legitmacy as "pros" of maplestory for one reason. One video the guy was using Sharpeyes max, maple warrior Max, Onyx apple, echo of hero skill. to break that down its like this, +40% damage from sharpeyes, +15% all stats from MW30, +4% all stats from Echo of hero, +100wep atk from Onyx apple This includes the use of thorns. So technically if your relying on the above to appear like a maplestory god, i would have to say its somewhat synthetic, and/or fake. i dont doubt a soloing character must be strong, but to draw ur strength from all the above then your not legitmately soloing since you rely heavily on buffs and power not related to your job class or character. technically i could solo zakum and hit all damage caps with thorns, and ppl might reguard that as pro, but its just me relying on a bunch of other ppl and factors. I would defineitly eat my own words if somone solos without using sharpeyes, apples, echo, and without hacked enhanced weapons. That would be pretty pro. i think i have at least some points that make sense, what do you think? Its not that i think ppl shouldnt solo and tape it, but they shouldnt acting godly and people shouldnt think of them that way based on those facts. The truest test of power would be someone scarring ALONE and using no apples or 3rd party buffs. i want to see that.

I wouldn't consider it soloing if you get buffs from others. Soloing = You enter alone, you kill alone, you use your own buffs. My guildmate solo'd horntail like this today ^__^

IN my opinion a solo is using you and your skills. So I count those as not entirely legit

It doesn't matter so long as it is THEIR buff. For example, Delaran. He uses SELF SE, SELF haste, SELF HB, his OWN MW and Aran buffs, and apples -HE- bought or earned himself. There's nothing wrong with that. Now, someone getting SE, MW 30 from someone else, echo from someone else, and being buffed with HB before going into pap, that's not fair.

If you were to solo something so far out of the league of soloing-ness (pretty much PB at this time) with other people's buffs, then it would be exempt from the criteria of having to only use your own buffs. Otherwise it should fall into a gray area of you soloing with other people's buffs.

its just my opinion that drawing on outside sources for power means your power isnt all your own. its unfortunate that Nexon has killed the need for partys by allowing any job to obtain important buffs that others wouldve normally provided. So basically mash up every job into one? lol GG nexon on "skill" ptotentials. its cool, but borders on silly. as they made some jobs obsolete in boss runs by allowing other classes to NX their way to obtaining some other classes most prizes skills.
