| I think you were talking about a manual gear car. |

| maybe you should learn the basics of driving a standard before you get in one... |

|
Mang : maybe you should learn the basics of driving a standard before you get in one...
This. It's not too hard once you get the basics down. Then all you need is practice, to make it smooth. |

| it's called a standard or manual transmission. With two pedal it's called automatic because the car switches gears for you. anyway you push the clutch all the way in, then slowly release it while pressing on the gas. What happened was you gave it too much gas and the RPMs jumped. The battery light means you stalled. my first time driving standard, it was in my friend's 2001 prelude and he was trying to explain how to do it to me and I told him to shut up, spun the tires, shifted into 2nd, and stopped perfectly. ty youtube for yr tutorials |

| Standard transmission are hard because you can screw up your gears if you stall too much. |

|
iLoveGrayBlobs : its rlly rlly hard T_T
if you've only be driving for 20 minutes I'm assuming you got your learners like today lol. Don't worry, just learned how to drive while applying the rules of the road. Once you can drive your automatic car safely, then learn how to drive the standard. Driving standard is so much more fun but you have to be confident in your driving otherwise it's frustrating. |

| Dude, you'll only get better. I've only had my G1 for a month, but I already feel like I could drive a standard with confidence. I stall occasionally, but it's cause I'm working at revving it a little lower, and sometimes I rev it too low. You really do get the feel for it after a bit of practice. |
