Thief Hero, what weapon does he/she use?

So, I've been wondering about the thief hero's weapon lately. I don't want it to be a dagger because it would cause even more inflation. I don't want it to be a sin because they're good enough already. So, I think that they should make a new weapon class. I like the Tonfa idea even though it seems more like something a brawler uses.

how about a dual wielder wields a claw in hand and a dagger in its mouth. So it can shoots a claw to freeze. And rush in with a dagger to kill. Or something like that.

Rather not have it be a tiger since WH's are getting jaguars which is already a category in cats.
