Hey everyone, I'm just wondering whether the trade hack has been patched. >.>

there isnt a trade hack some people say its an explosion hack but i dunno if thats true

It was fake. Just two guys trolling basil The bomb hack was real and Nexon surprisingly acted fast and patched it overnight/early morning.

Yes it's been patched, but just watch out for the remote brain control hack causing your characters to strip everything and drop their items in FM1 Ch1.

[/quote] Is this sarcasm, if so i can't see it. If not, i was up throughout that exploit and I was getting killed all over the place. I logged off at around 3 AM and it was still not patched I started to talk with them and they said they had been hacking like this for about 6 hours

Just because they didn't do it while you were there doesn't mean they weren't working on it and getting it fixed. Best proof of that is it's fixed.

They patched it with a 2 hour server check around 3am PDT (I'd post the notice, but they took it down for some reason). A lot of people think that Nexon doesn't work on weekends so the earliest we would have expected a fix would be Monday, or even until their normal weekly server checks.

Indeed there WAS a trade hack. The recent mention of it was completely false though. It was only mentioned to spread fear because of the alien bomb exploit, in which maplers would run into the FM and blow themselves up, much like suicide bombers. Feels almost like terrorism. Anyways, the trade hack did exist at one point, and it did automatically force people to trade items without their consent. It was patched a week later. Again, to reiterate, there is no longer a trade hack in maplestory.

[/quote] The bomb was somehow hacked coded, and they spawn this bomb (this bomb was from the Visitor Mothership Party Quest, summoned by either in the dimension cube or the Visitor Representative cube). It was mostly used in the Free Market Ch 1 or in Henesys Ch 1. Either because hackers want to have fun or Maple Terrorism.
