Why do 4th jobs always seem so rich?

I was just curious why people with 4th job characters always seem so rich. Maybe it's because those who are funded tend to make it to 4th job, or maybe there's a method of making money at the higher levels. I just want to know why the 4th jobs tend to be rich or how they make their mesos. Thanks!

You can boss at 4th job You can kill stronger monsters at 4th job You've had your share of drops from lvl 1-120

A. Bossing B. Higher level monsters drop better things C. You've had a long amount of time to save and stuff D. For mages, leech E. For close range, BF leech F. For long range, Anego leech G. They had to save up enough money for mounts somehow, so they'll use the same method Thanks to Islander20 for E and F!

Plus they sell equips/mastery books from bosses. And sell leech to people when going against a boss instead of selling the equip in the Free Market.

not all 4th jobs are funded I'm not saying i'm unfunded, but ive seen level 130/140+ people without zhelms using regular level based items Just play the game and enjoy it, eventually you get stronger and mesos come your way :]

They need mastery books: Mastery books = Expensive So if U have max gen or mw or something you = Rich?

They travel faster with mounts in the fm. I got a 400m skanda for 1m just cause of that. wrongly priced lol , also cause of bossing and selling leech

O.o Bossing? Maybe mini bosses, but zakum isn't good money, pap barely drops good stuff, pianus is hogged 24/7

1.Items with potential at higher lvl general have greater chance getting good potential and sell for a lot. 2.Scrolls, used weapons etc etc from mobs are pretty decent. 3. Quests gives good scrolls or items. 4. Maker skill! 5.Funded?o.o 6.NxNxNxNxNxNx not saying everything applies to everyone, a lot ppl are not funded or have tons of nx but the top 4 is pretty common in general~

Most of the rich 4th jobbers gain money in a number of ways. 1. Boss runs, by selling drops 2. Regular grind 3. Merch 4. Buy mesos from sites (Most do this...)

I barely had any money until fourth job, and I still barely have any funds now. And Sure, we can boss, but without connections or friends, you'll never get to see any of that. Try never being invited to anything, or even parties for that matter. I never got to try ravana once while it was out, even though i'm sure it'd be killed easily. Sure, we kill higher level monsters, but how many of us really pick up what drops unless its an item, and even then those aren't worth much. I had to rely on funds from events to even make it as far as i did, and everyone else says its x, x, and x. Its simple, thats why they're rich, when thats not why at all. OT: Psh, maplers. How far you make it in levels or how rich you can get depend on your ability to merch and know the economy, and your determination. Being able to boss helps, but it isn't one of the main factors to your success.

Because when you're at 4th job, you have more experience and you know what to invest in. Also, people are more willing to buy NX at that level to increase their incomes.
