Aran Today or After Big Bang

My Brother decided that he wants to make an Aran but he's concerned that after all his hard work of leveling and after the Big Bang Update it will be meaningless to get to that level. I told him that he should just wait till Big Bang comes, he's also worried that if he starts an Aran now he won't get anything good in the beginning and maybe he'll get something if he starts during Big Bang.He has enough to make fund a dexless Aran.So Basil What Do you think he should do?

im a level 102 aran, and out of all the classes ive played (and ive played almost all) arans are super ez to lvl. Arans dont change that much after the big bang as for their main attacks, but they do get a significant power boost. After the big bang u get a weapon damage multiplier, and besides claws, (being 2.0) the weapon with the highest bonous is polearms/spears (at 1.5). Add that together with the damage boosts they get in their regular attacks and they get some real uber damage and mobility (mobility is key). The only down side to arans in my opinion is they have low hp, not REALLY low but not as high as the conventional aran, im lvl 102 and i have 4800hp. After the big bang deffence will b determined mainly by AP so all classes that use strength (like arans) get an incredible boost in weapon deffence, ive seen high lvl arans in kms with like 5k weapon defence, they take like no damage at all. As for weather to go dexless or not, i would go dexless. After the big bang the main stat determining your hit rate is level, if u r 1 lvl below the monster u are attacking ur max hit will b 95%, even if u have 10000 accuracy. I would just make one now cause they're ez to lvl anyway, and i dont think ull b missing any important items if u do.

Mobashar What I meant is that it doesn't hurt to level up now. It won't just because leveling will get easier doesn't make the work you did before big bang pointless.

lvling to 30 is so easy now. and i dont think those levels will be affected by BB (only by the monsters u can attack without miss). so i would make an aran right now before BB will nerf Combo Smash, as i used it much at 45-70. on 3rd job u get crit from combos, so u use the combo skills much less. make it DEXless - all APs on STR! u'll regret it after BB if u put any on DEX.

Mobashar Everything that makes you enjoy the game is OK, even STRLess warrior (what? lol! - heh, u can say HP warriors are STRless xD). warriors never even needed DEX realy! all they ever need were ACC! (maybe to wear some few items... but still...), unlike thieves who need DEX to wear 99% of the thieves items, Archers who need STR to wear 95% of the bows, Mages who need LUK to wear 99.9% of the mages items - warriors (arans) only need DEX to wear Crimson Arcglaive (80dex req.) and maybe 1-2 more items i forgot. so yeah, u get very good ACC out of DEX. but, with the new system (BB), u dont need that high ACC no more. and u can get all the ACC u need out of items. if u already have 20-30 DEX, then ignore it, dont remake just for this tiny effect (unless u wannna super-duper-funded DMG, then do what u like). myself, I have 37 DEX on my L84 aran. i'm not funded at all! and i wont remake it just for those 33 STR par. if nexon will give AP reset, way to go for me! i'll put all on str! but if they wont, thats ok too, i'll just play with my 37 DEX. hope that make sense. and sorry about the mistakes, i just woke up :o Good luck. Edit: Cube He's right with his question. Lets say it takes you 2hours avg. for lvl up, and after BB it will take you 1hour... thats 5 hours for 10 levels! u could just wait a little, and play something else, or roll a different character (as i said, i realy realy dont thing the BB levels will be that different for early levels). i kinda stopped play some characters of mine just for the lvling, and playing more for money-making and fun - i'll keep the main lvling effort after BB. i might be wrong, but thats the way i see it
