| This is not a "I got banned!" thread, this is just a warning. If you do not believe I have been banned, rank search me. It was a 30 day ban before all the rumors start, most everyone already knows its been done. Many people have been claiming that flying assaulter has been auto banning for staying in the air to long, so I decided to test it myself. Around the beginning of the x2 event I decided to go to the new Ninja Castle boss, or at least look for it, Castellan. http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-monster-Castellan-781.html Around half way through the first form, I glitched flying assaulter about 3 times just to see if anything would happen, nothing did. I continued killing it and cleared the first form fine. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff14/AznRYaku/CastellanEmp.jpg This is when I started to notice my 200k's increasing. For a dual blade to have 200ks even happen, the 1st hit of an attack must be critical (Also your range must be high enough). I continued through the 2nd form with the same tactic, flying assaulter and chains of hell-ing before any attack could hit me, but still died a few times. On the frog form I noticed that my 200k's became extremely apparent, I was hitting about 4/5 of my attacks being all criticals and some normal 200ks. Obviously this was nothing to worry about, who doesn't want 200ks even if they're server sided (They aren't though). So around this point I began to lag, not only that but to add onto it my bishop was disconnected with the error "You have been disconnected by the login server". Obviously I kept going while trying to get my bishop back into the map, the JQ is pretty annoying, so I afk'd for a few minutes after image-luring. To anyone that doesn't know what image luring is, its casting mirror image to stop the boss from attacking after it dies. My range is 4x the normal dual blade range, but that still doesn't effect my critical rate this drastically if at all. After my bishop was back in the map, I decided to give flying assaulter one last try, this time it turned out differently. I flew into the frog, died, and was stuck in the air until I resurrected on my bishop. I landed back down and began attacking, but just as I did I hit a pure 200k fatal blow (3mil damage) and was GMPoliced. What could have caused this? A various amount of things that I would avoid watching out for. 1. The fact that flying assaulter drags you onto the monsters location without damage could pose as godmode. 2. The obvious FA glitch that gets you stuck in the air. 3. Pure 200ks, or a constant amount, could trigger something with the server. 4. Avoiding to many attacks (Rumored to be this) GMPolices you. 5. Dual blades just being overall glitched. 6. MY massive DPS/DPM (About 500mil per 15minutes, slower on Castellan because of monster-level damage reduct |
