umm, I am not sure if I should keep lvling my lvl35 dawn warrior since all other jobs got crazy upgrades should i make a new cleric/ranger or continue my dawn warrior

Cygnus Knights have always sucked, make another class if you plan to reach level 120.

I was never a big fan of cygnus knights they have most explorer skills and custom element skills but appearently their elemental skills wont change much only their explorer skills will change. So yeah ditch the dawn warrior make a hero O.o

The only reason to get a CK to 120 after BB is to get an Ultimate Adventurer (Adventurers with the added special skill from a CK). A CK is a good character to play if you're taking a break from your main. That's why I made a WA. I'm also waiting for BB to come out so I can make a Mechanic, so it helps pass the time.

The suck for all content beyond level 120, thanks to their level cap, but making a level 120 CK has advantages like the Ultimate Adventurer and Blessing of the Empress (which will come with the Castle of Lionheart). However, I'll just do a %per attack comparison with a level 120 Dawn Warrior's Brandish and a level 120 Crusader's brandish. For both, Brandish is a base of 480% damage and I'll assume 1v1 situations: Crusader: Combo: 125% FA: 60% average damage 675% average per Brandish Dawn Warrior: FA: average of 78.75% ACA: 200% Soul Charge: 130%, holy element. 1452.75% Brandish on neutral and 2179.125% on holy weak. There is a huge gap in the damage%. Although, the slightly stronger skills of the Hero, its level cap and higher AP will allow it to easily surpass the CK at higher levels. Also, for simplicity's sake, I ignored some factors like the sprite (which might be worth maxing now) and things like finishers. Also, I think Soul Driver has a slightly higher DPM than Brandish. Edit: Damage% of a Hero assuming 1v1 situations BS: 630% base damage With FA: 690% With ACA: 1380% With Enrage: 2208% As you can see, the damage%s of the DW match that of a Hero's, and even surpass a hero in many situations. The main flaw of the DW is that at later levels it's Str is much lower, and we have the level penalties that come into play (being unable to hit HT at all is a major flaw). Although the DW by far surpasses the Crusader and early levels of a Hero.

Cygnus Knights (from a biased standpoint) are awesome. That is, if you're looking for pure fun without the regular grindy stuff. CKs level easily, and come with a bucketload of benefits post BB, such as Blessing of Empress, which gives 26+ ATT, and the ability to make an ultimate adventurer, which starts at level 50 and has a ton of benefits that regular adventurers don't have. Also, training a CK post BB is easier than riding a bicycle, so I would say stick with your Dawn Warrior. Once your DW is 120, make a Ultimate Adventurer Hero, and own everything. From my own personal point of view, I started Maplestory with only one goal in mind: To have fun. When I began to seriously play, I remember seeing a bowman and a Wind Archer on the same map in HHG1. Seeing how the Wind Archer was so much cooler, I decided to ditch my lvl 20 bowman and make a Wind Archer instead. I don't regret that decision. Honestly, I am only interested in Archer type characters. From the numerous MMos I've played, I have always started and perfected the Archer type character first. Maplestory was no exception. Knowing very well that I would be capped at level 120, I chose to make a Wind Archer anyway. I got exactly what I expected, which was a fun, easy to level and beautifully drawn character type. For over 2 years, I've played Wind Archer, and took my time with it. Just recently (two weeks ago), I finally hit level 120 with it, and that was only because of learning about Ultimate Adventurers, so I finally decided to max out my WA. I will always keep and never regret making my Wind Archer, since it is the only character type that I truly felt I could enjoy playing. Until Wild Archers, my WA will be my main.

I'm wondering if the Soul Driver got his awesome speed back, or is it still slow? :/ I'm thinking of coming back to MS and make a Cygnus just to get some money boost for a new adventurer after that.

[/quote] No, its delay is about 1600ms at normal speed. I think that is about the same speed as it is now (maybe slightly faster). Although, its DPM on 1 target rivals that of Brandish's DPM. Although I cant be certain untill I know SD's speed at speeds faster than Normal 6.
