What is it with Bleach?

So I was watching the very first opening to Bleach. I a feeling came to me. I wasn't sure what the feeling was. But luckily enough a comment appeared right below and I realized what I was feeling. I miss the old Bleach. Sure the new episodes are good. But they're just so bland and like every other anime/manga out there. The old episodes I'm talking about (seasons 1~3) we're so well done. Everything was very original. The art style had its own uniqueness to it. Here's the comment I read. "The best days of Bleach started with this opening. Ichida and Sado were useful, Orihime wasn't a half-crazed broken girl and did more than just cry, Rukia was a demoted badass that still could kick some asses by herself, and Urahara was just a funny guy with a Jade-esque* personality. Now it's unwatchable." This is exactly true. I mean just compare the openings to opening 1 and opening 12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTv_LorOv5s First opening http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7vfvfr6Go4 12th opening (sorry for the terrible sound quality) Sure the 12th opening is nice. But it's nothing like the first. Well that's all I have to say. Hopefully some of you other people feel the same was as I do. And what the hell happened to hollows? They're all gone.

Dont watch Bleach, read Bleach It seems unoriginal because you're thinking about old Bleach and comparing with new Bleach Of course it'd have a lot of stuff the same

I hate where Tite Kubo (author of the manga) took the storyline of Bleach. It's like he's trolling us every chapter.

I like the 12th opening more then the 1st opening! Bleach has evolved, over the years.

I'm barely at episode 31. Who the FREAK ARE THOSE PEOPLE IN OPENING 12. And I have to agree, the first three seasons were amazing. After that, they bombed it.

it gave into DBZ syndrome. i agree though, having side characters that are actually relevant was nice...but Orihime being "broken" was a definite good angle if it was actually turned into a dark, psychological sideplot. kinda like the moment when Soul Society refused aid, but it really ended there.
