forced out of my mp3 map multiple times by lvl 100+ people saying "this is my friends map go away", im finally just biting the bullet and going to fog. why do people just lose their minds on 2x events like its the last time itl ever happen.

o_O Wow, I've been in a similar situation just once before... Yeah. People want to make use of the event and gain some fast %s. Unfortunately it doesn't improve their manners. I make sure not to be online during those events or I go hunt items at some quiet place.

The trick is you go to an uncrowded place that has more than half the typical EXP gain of your normal training spot. This way, you'll still be training faster than normal, but without competition. A great area to train during 2x events is Truckers and STDs.

[/quote] Truckers and STDs are actually really crowded during 2x events now :/ I've learned to ignore 2x events lol. Why get so excited about it, log on, get pissed, then log off? :P

egh... during 2x events, i usually go on a mule and train at zombie mushroom/ sandrat minidungeons to avoid the ppl

Well, us Maplers, including me. We want to level up fast for new things, so we take advantage of the 2x events.

2x brings out the worst in some maplers. It's at those times where you can do 1 of many things: 1. Ask to train with a party and/or share the map or take certain floors. (MP3 is a good example. 1 person per floor and possibly 2 at bottom) 2. Pick alternative monsters with nearly the same amount of EXP, preferable monsters that aren't popular. Mini dungeons as well. 3. Do PQ's. While everyone is out training PQ maps (not competitive ones eg. CPQ) are usually open so you can get in on after another. 4. HUNT for items from unpopular monsters. Different from #2 because some monsters drop good stuff but are bad to train on. So typically people avoid them. Instead of training you hunt while getting mediocre - decent exp. 5. Avoid it altogether. Just chat or stay off MS till the madness dies down. Overall it's just a game. Have fun and don't let the selfish players ruin your day.

[/quote] I don't. i try to avoid 2x events...but if im about to gain a level, i train at skeles mini dungeon (since you dont have to worry about people)....for those that cant hit skeles....its hard finding a training area :/

Lol, when someone comes into scarecrows or the mp3 map I'm in, I just ask if they want to share the map. If they don't then I'll say okay and let them find another map or channel. But, when they try to KS me out of the map. I just leave and train at night with my reps :P I really don't like starting fights or giving them the satisfaction of me being pissed at them and that they won. :P
