Ok, so my current highest level is a level 80 Hermit. And I have been out of the Maplestory loop for quite awhile. Alot has changed. I have dabbed in a little of all the first classes as far as the Explorers and the Evan. The Aran, Cygnus Knights and Dual Blades are all still completly new to me. I am thinking of starting over on a new world as a new class and start from scratch all over again. So with that said what is the Basilmarket communities thoughts on this... As far as : Class: (Which class would you reccomend to play? Why?) Cost I will be unfunded so... How are the prices in different worlds?) Content: (Whats been new in the past year and a half?) Any other advice/tips are more than welcome.) please respond to this and try and be serious ;) Thanks alot guys :P

Your best bet wuld be aran. Im like u i came back and tryed aran im lvl 59 now doing alot of dmg and im not funded i got 5mil in total throughout and im doing decent dmg Also Galicia is amazing And alot of stuff is new sorry i cant tell u all but its deffinatly fun But watch out for jerks

Well class is really up to you, any class can be made with no funds. As for content, well a lot had been added and i suppose you should just check the ms site under events/news/updates.

Be a Permanent beginner. Seriously, you need no funding AT ALL. That's right, no funding is needed. World? Join Scania, and try to get into the Guild Fired. Or you could chill with me in Windia as the few beginners their are. I'll try to get you into my all beginner guild if you decide to make a beginner in Windia.

Arans are legends, that participated in a fight between the Black Mage, and defeated him or something. They use only Polearms. Cygnus Knights, really have no back story, they level up to only 120, but they gain more stats up until level 70. Dual Blades, the new bandwagon character, are as the name says, a double wielding bandit. They came out a few months ago, but require nx. New upgrade for items came out, called potential, they give items bonus, like stats, damage, avoid, skills, and accuracy. Theres a % chance that an item will be a potential item when you get it from a drop. Drop rates went up, however item npc prices went down. New kinda "scrolls" came out, called enhancement scrolls, which can only be used on a 0 slot item. they start off at 90% and keep going down after you use one, they may explode an item. I would say make a Cygnus Knight, because they do a lot of damage at early levels, and they only get to 120 so its not that hard. And once you get to 120, a few patches from now you will be able to make an Ultimate Adventurer which gains a 3rd job skill from a Cygnus Knight. Or something like that. All in all maple changed a lot, i would say Bellocan would be a good world to restart in :D Good Luck, Have Fun.

"Which class" threads go in the New Player section and "which world" threads are preferred in there as well. :S Unfortunately we have a no-move policy, but feel free to copy the content of you thread and repost your thread in the New Player section. Luckily you already got some decent answers.
