Unexpected server check?

As far as i checked, pretty much of all the maplers DC'ed around 21.00 CET.. The mainpage doesn't say anthing about an emergensy check, so what was this?

Yeah after the eu 1 crash I got a fm3 spot and now the server crashed again... I wonder what they're doing.

Im pretty sure its a big hack! Its like eu 1 gets moved to eu 2 without anyone knowing it and u cant cc to some chanels at some time! Then eu 1 is empty with like spots in fm! Im pretty sure cus i just got the same problem for the second time. And once it was around 4.30pm. Got some problems with using skills too. And a friend of mine is bugged with his battleship cannon skill. 100% sure a hack cus this does not seems a emergency check.

[/quote] rofl, what if the servers are just failing? if a hack is doing this its a good hacker, so i doubt he will waste his time hackin maple.

I already had some weird disconnects earlier (at around 8:00, 8:30 maybe), so maybe the server is just kind of crappy. Might just get us an extra weekend of 2x :D

I can see 2 things that may happen: 1) Servers are really bad and for some reason can't handle loads of people anymore. 2) Hackers use loads of D/C hacks to dupe items. Number 2 would actually be really, really bad. Incredibly bad. Worse then the meso exploit we had a few months ago.

So far EU1, 2, 3 and Eng1 and 2 crashed, EU1 multiple times I think.

Not sure how the duping works, but when I logged in after the first crash, I bought some scrolls. Lost those during the 2nd crash.
