Win7 graphic crashes?

So I'm on Win7 Home Premium 64-bit with a GeForce GT325M 1GB dedicated graphics card. After the Dual Blade patch my Maple would just start flickering - the image would disappear and then green lines would appear across my full screen which turned black. I don't dc, I can be training and I don't even die. It's just like the period of pausing when you switch between Window and full-screen mode. Except this doesn't stop. At first it would flicker and I'd get the message "Windows XP Compatibility Graphics Driver has stopped responding and recovered" and it would go back to normal. It then later progressed to flickering, getting the message and then I'd have to change between Window mode/full screen/alt tab for it to stop. Then it was at the point of happening every 5sec (it was like every 1/2h > 10min > 5min previously) and nothing helped. Well obviously it's to do with compatibility issues, stupid Nexon why can't they make a cross-platform version? A lot of people are playing on 7 and we're resulted to auto-compatibility mode which also ruins Aeropeek/themes T_T Anyways does this happen to anybody else and if so, solution? Ty

this has happened to me too. I have to do ctrl+alt+delete and end maplestory. It takes like 2 minutes to do that because my screen is flickering, but i havnt found a better solution. when ever i alt tab or alt enter I give it a second to load before i change the resolution again.

i had this problem when i was at my girlfriends house. theres some way to change the way you run your programs, like you can make windows 7 operate like windows xp, but i forgot how. google that and it should help. we solved it on her comp but yeah if you find that it should help.

Same problem with me. I usually encounter it if I'm running maplestory and youtube at the same time. No solution I've found in my search.

Well I have this problem too when I do boss runs such as Zak and Balrog. If you see images start flickering or lines appear across your screen, try changing your picture quality (go to menu -> system option) to low, high or medium and see if that works for you. So basically, just change the picture quality from one to another when it happens to have those flickering images.

I run Win7 just fine. I think the problem is that you have the 64-bit version and Maple is a 32-bit program. Have you tried compatability? (properties > compatability > run in compatability for XP sp2). Not sure if that will help but I remember it helped me when I had Vista.

NateEwwie if I select the option of running Maple in Windows XP compatibility mode, Ahnlab Hackshield tells me I'm attempting hacking tools -sob- giblets sadly though it doesn't work for me, because it happens every time I go on Maple. No matter how many times I reset, relog, restart Maple ))): BravePotato I'll try that thanks but I don't think I can because when it flickers I actually can't do anything with my screen. Skills are paused, and even ctrl + alt + delete takes 5 attempts and like 2min before I can get it open. I can't alt tab or switch modes at some points ):

this only proves that ms is not a game to be played on Windows 7, so many people are having bugs with it

Puriie How about try going to another map, then change the picture quality? That works for me.

Ditto. I haven't found a solution to this either. I've searched everywhere for a solution but can't seem to find one.
