As of last Saturday, I was unable to log into my account. They want me to validate my account, which requires me to get into an email address that no longer exists. I can't log into my account any more, and so I'll no longer be playing Maple. There's a SLIM chance that, due to a ticket I sent from an extra account I hold, with plenty of information only I could know about my account, I might get it back.. but I sincerely doubt that. And I've put far too much of my life into this game to restart. Achievements : One level 200 character, a level 150 alternate. Held - briefly - the title of strongest Dark Knight in Bera. May possibly still hold it, until Johnson cubes his gear better than mine. May have also held the title of strongest Dark Knight, period, before we got Potentials. Was one of the game's most reliable Dark Knights, could be counted on in any run I went on. Helped countless people get their start, build their characters to be decently strong, and helped to fund hundreds (possibly literally) of people's Reverse gear. Assisted friends in several big-ticket skill books. And, apparently, served to inspire many up-and-coming Dark Knights. And now, I hang up my spear. My steps toward becoming an engineer have begun, I'm working my way through the prerequisite courses now. My obsession has changed. It's time to pass on the torch to a new generation of Dark Knights, and see what they are capable of. Do me proud, guys, I know you can. :D

I do intend to try and get my stuff back, of course. I just don't have particularly high hopes for that. Maybe if we get that Ultimate Adventurer bullcrap I'll start up a new account, raise a Thunderbreaker to 120, then start a new drk off it for the blessing boost. We'll see.

Sorry to here that man, but your giving it up for something good! (I quit maple cause I didn't have time for my engineering classes, tennis, and maple.....so maple got cut haha). Best of luck to you in your life! You were definitely a DrK inspiration of mine, and I wish you the best in engineering!

I'm not sure how maple related your email address was but is emailing the new owner out of the question? Like if it's supermapleplayer@yahoo.com -- if you email them youll probably get your account jacked But if it's edsbedemporium@aol.com -- you might be able to explain the situation to whoever owns the email address now and get ti worked out From what I understand with going the Nexon route you are pretty much limited to changing your email address only if you paid for the email address before and now it's changed, plus they hate dealing with players who are trying to talk to them from a different account. Then again you are a lvl 200 now and whether or not it's because Nexon does give some sort of preferential treatment or because lvl 200s demonstrate the same persistence they used to get to 200 on trying to right their wrongs or maybe the cases just become more high profile they seem to have a higher percentage of getting worked out.

oh crap. I just noticed. This might've happened to me too O_O The e-mail account I used to make my maplestory accuont is now deleted, and I haven't been online on maple for over 2 months. Is there a chance what happened to Ed, happened to me too?

I had to remake several a few months back when I was worried about something or other and wanted to make sure all my email accounts were still activated. Simply re-register with the same email address I guess the silver lining that may come from this is everyone else getting proactive with their own account emails as I'm currently going through and re-verifying all my accounts and their emails. I'm currently at 3 deactivated accounts =(
