NX Item Lock fail? Hackers at work

Ever since that 'leek' in maple, my friends have been getting their accounts hacked and most of the items stolen. I don't have a lot of mesos but I am dependent on my gear so I bought item lock for them. But just this morning when I logged on, my gear was gone and I was in FM7. How did they get rid of the lock? ;o Would sending a ticket to Nexon even help? At least they had the decency to leave my 21% str earring... What to do now?

Send a ticket to Nexon and ask how this happened, just prove that you had the item lock etc. I mean, you bought the lock for a reason.

That's BS btw. Hacker rule of thumb, never leave anything behind, if possible. Definition of a nice hacker: a hacker that leaves your ZHelm, Broken Glasses and Glittering Altair Earrings or something SoKable, behind, becu they can't afford SoKs.

Wow, I have no idea how they managed to get you gear. You have my sympathy for your lose, and I can relate to your situation. My main account, 130 Hero, was hacked during the leak situation and I worked very hard to recover. After getting some basic gear and around 40 million mesos up I took a break from Maple for several months. When I returned I was stunned to find my account was stripped again! I can hear everyone now, "keylogger", should go to suspect sites, etc. I didn't and I have checked, scanned and had a professional check my computer, nothing! It would have felt better to have found something to be able to say that this was the reason I was hacked. Since this has happened I have regrouped and started on another account while doing anything and everything I can to reclaim my main. I have possession but do not feel secure leaving anything on that account. Best wishes on recovery, if you were on Mardia I would share my junk equipments to help you get going again.

im poor so i never really had to worry about any of this, of course poverty has its own problems :P You really should log a ticket with nexon, im not incredibly sure it will do anything but if there is a failure in the system so bad that locked equipment isnt safe then something is very very wrong. Also, you paid for that lock and the service you paid for was not given. At the very least you should be reimbursed for the price of the lock.

I found it hard to believe too that he left my rose earrings but why would I make this up? There are other cases where some people were hacked but were still left with some stuff. I was left with my zhelm, earring, and 6 att pac. I don't know why he didn't take my pac or earring but I'm glad he didn't. I would have prefer it if he hadn't taken anything but this is better than nothing. At least I can merch them after the lock goes away...which is in three months...and assuming he doesn't hack me again...

Obviously there was some glitch, you can get the NX compensated for the item locks by logging onto the website and showing the transactions. If you reflect you bought Items locks and spent X amount of NX they might even reissue you the gear because it technically was their fault the product you purchased was vulnerable. EDIT: Nvm DJ reminded me of the enhance/clean's. I'd still do my advice.

How can people blame nexon? Hackers have made a hole in there system or w/e they did. NOT NEXON's fault, they found a gateway so they used it, nexon had no clue of this and probably cracking there way to prevent this. You people think stopping a hack takes 1 minute NO it doesn't . There's loads of pre-cautions before the can patch it and prevent more leeks of that same hack. I think Nexon has done good and nmorewala3 Nexon is more successfullthen you will ever be .A companies aim is to make money they have made money and even with there awful customer service people still buy nx and they still gain money even though this is a FREE GAME. (Y) Nexon So in conclusion nmorewala3 is a big fail.
