Disclaimer: This guide was created in the hope that people would gain a better understanding of what HB pants do, how they are created, why they are expensive and why they are stolen. This is a glitch something Nexon had not intended. Use at your own discretion. If you find anything wrong with this guide, please feel free to comment or PM me to inform me of the mistake(s). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Introduction - What Are HB Pants? HB stands for "Hyper Body," a skill that, normally, only Spearmen, Dragon Knights and Dark Knights are allowed to cast. However, by exploiting a glitch, anyone can cast Hyper Body independent of a Spearman/Dragon Knight/Dark Knight - however, it comes with a few conditions. First , one must obtain a pair of bottoms that have the potential ability of "Decent Hyper Body." Second , when you wear the pants, you must assign the ability (found under your Beginner skills tab) to a hotkey. Third , when you switch out the HB pants with something else, you must switch them out with an overall; you must not take them off first - you have to put on the overall while wearing the HB pants. In earlier patches, it was possible to switch the HB pants out with a pair of bottoms. This has since been fixed. Fourth , the HB given by the pants are 40% HP and MP. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How To Get HB Pants : One - you can rent them from someone who has created a pair. However, male common HB pants are rare; female common HB pants are next to impossible to purchase. In addition, you will need to give money or items equal to the value of the HB pants, as well as a rental fee. The collateral, or the money/items equal to the value of the HB pants, range from 1 billion to 2.1 billion mesos. The rental fee is often 50 to 100 million mesos. Lenders run the risk of having their pants stolen by the renters, so you may need references. Two make them yourself, slacker. They have to be bottoms leveled 70 or higher. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What Kinds of Pants Can One Use to Make HB Pants : You must use level 70 or higher pants for this to work. Sorry, but the beginner bottoms wont work. Overalls wont work either. Stirgeman Utility Pants - you can get these from typing in codes; the codes are found in MapleStory iTCG cards. The set of cards you want to look for in order to get a pair of Strigeman Utility Pants is "NPC Heroes." When you get the codes, you go to the Cash Shop, and click on the button at the bottom called "Codes." Enter one code at a time, and don't put any dashes or space in the input space. Simply having
bunnysucker1 : wow nice. how many cubing does it take for a normal like dark studded pants lvl 70 theif
The use of Miracle Cube and subsequent use of Magnifying Glass on the pants are random, I believe. PlzOPH3T - They can use the Stirgeman pants or the Android pants, and then switch them out with an overall. It'll be more expensive, as they'll need common pants, of course.
bunnysucker1 : Malon89 so your saying u can use just 1 cube and get hb
You may not even need the Cube in the first place. The Cube is used if you do not get the HB skill right away. imissmyAM and others - Thank you.

The introduction is kind of unusual. "HB stands for "Hyper Body," a skill that, normally, only Spearmen, Dragon Knights and Dark Knights are allowed to cast. However, by exploiting a glitch, anyone can cast Hyper Body - however, it comes with a few conditions." Sounds like you're partying a spearmen, exploit a glitch in the party system, and somehow get 40 % HP/MP as a skill
