Stupid patch , HELP!

so when i try to patch maplestory from the website it says it cannot connect or some crap, so then i uninstalled everything related to ms and reinstall it and yet it still doesnt work. Yes, i have tried to run gamelauncher.exe and it still doesnt work. Any suggestions? :[ (Please Help)

i've heard other ppl saying you need to disable the proxy settings in internet explorer... it works fine for me o_o

You need to download a proxy program, get hot spot shield. Due to nexons serve incompetence they seem to have blocked some ips or isps? (for a unknown reason) from accessing the sever (both game and site)

Mine just crashes whenever I try to load it. It crashes even before HackShield starts.

StevenLeopard ya it does say that and it happens every patch to me too. so i almost always have to redownload ms every patch.

oh, it's even worse for me cuz redownloading STILL makes me patch it for some stupid reason. i have to copy all my MS files from my laptop (which patches fine), onto a USB, and that takes like 10 minutes. then i have to copy it from my USB to my desktop for another 10 minutes.

That happens to me every single patch as well. It didn't happen before but ever since something happened to my laptop, it's become like this. Every single patch, I have to reinstall maple. As for the latest patch, I reinstalled it and it still makes me download the patch. Meh. So now I go on the other comp xD

(for a unknown reason) from accessing the sever (both game and site) [/quote] every time i log on using hotspot shield i get a message sayin "this ID has been blocked from loggin into the game" or something so i had to disable hotspot shield and reactivate my account because it gets deactivated...

kuradogaru Oh nexon has blocked the ip that hotspotsheild uses then, guess yall have to wait for nexon to get their act together, I recommend taking up a new mmorpg.
