Graphics Card and Maplestory

I'm about to buy a laptop with this graphics card: (Sorry I'm not good with computers) Integrated Mobile Intel HD Graphics up to 1307MB (32bit OS) or up to 1696MB (64bit OS) shared graphics memory It also comes with 4GB of Ram and 2.26GHz Intel Core i3-350M The Laptop is from Toshiba. Would this be enough to run Maplestory? I will be using a cooling pad to reduce the heat.

I can't tell if you're trolling or not. ANYTHING can run MapleStory.

any computer can run maple story. It's just nexon fail at making maple story it mainly nexon fault.. Only problem is maple story not the computer. don't rage on the computer!

even my OLD comp from 1992, with a disc space of 6GB! can run it, Lagging alot tho.. And yes it's good enough.

If your computer is made before 1994 I can understand that it might not work. But I have seen a computer made in 1995 (had windows 95 originally) with no/few upgrades (only upgrade was the harddrive and the OS) run MapleStory fine and no lag or boss lag.

My 6-8 year old desktop with a VIA/SG3 Uni chrome had a very hard time with Maplestory, so I was just worried about that issue happening again.

Sure it's good enough, even the crappiest laptop you'll find will be able to start maple.

try not to get integrated graphics/sound cards. they are usually bad.

you will be fine.. just check if they have graphics card like Nivida or some sort of Radeon series...

The Intel GMA HD is an IGP that is bundled with the i3 and i5 processor. While it true that IGPs are generally not made for gaming, MapleStory isn't an intensive game that even an Intel GMA x4500 (slower than the one you listed) can run it just fine. If you plan on playing other games, depending on what it is, you may want to invest in a laptop with a dedicated GPU. Edit: Btw, how much is this laptop costing you?

Maplestory is not graphically intensive, and the new i-core GMA's are enough to run maplestory. Just concerning maplestory, you will be fine. Do note however, that the GMA graphics card you are getting with your laptop won't run much else. It can run all games prior to 2006 with medium/high details. If you want to play more recent games however, you might want to consider a dedicated graphics card from ATI, or Nvidia.

it will cost me $599.99 and I will only be using it for Maple + schoolwork
