Dimensional Analysis zzzzz If a swimming pool can hold 13493 gallons of water, what is its volume in cubic centimeters? 1mL=1(cubic centimeter) 1000mL=1L 3.79L=1gal

My bad... It's a volume ratio. 1000^3 would work.

Well, what you first want to start off with is what is "known" which would be : 13493 gallons = 13493 gallons Then you want to use a conversion factor, which is essentially multiplying by 1 (two of the same values divided by each other equal 1, IE (3.79L/1gal)=1 ), to get the units you want. Make sure that the units you do not want divide out. 13493 gallons = 13493 gallons (3.79L/1gal) (1000mL/1L) (1cm^2/1mL) I'll let you figure out the # answer.

So you'd divide 51,138,470 by 1000? Or would it just stay the same? @ Above thats what I did...but the number seems too surreal
