Maplestory in 3D idea

so i was thinking about this: would it be cool if nexon made an application to maplestory to make it 3D. i mean, like you see in the cinema, with those blue & red glasses. with a switch in maplestory you can toggle the 3d mode on and of so the screen goes 3d mode and you see the monsters and your character in 3d, maybe even items. seems not so complicated to me.

There has already been previews of a 3D version of Maple. It looked very ugly.

You can't even imagine the HUGE amount of work it would cost to model all the monsters, maps, characters, items etc. in 3d, therefore not going to happen

it would look stupid too, havent you seen the 3d trailors and stuff? the avatars looks so dumb. it started 2d and i want it to stay 2d

Guys, I don't think he means 3D like WoW etc. He means Avatar 3D. Where the 2D things comes out to you. It will still be a side-scrolling game.

That would be pretty cool. Would make sense too, especially how the background, foreground, etc etc move apart at different paces, it would be perfect to have 3d glasses.
