Let's summarize the process: - starting October 1, you will see a 'BasilVersary' button on the BasilIM bar. Click it to reveal today's riddle. - to make it fair for all our members, the time that each riddle is given out will change each day, but it always be given out on the hour (ie, 00 BT, 10 BT, never 10:10 BT). - search for the answer to that riddle on BasilMarket.com (ie, the monster webpage for Bob the snail). - when you're on the page which you think is the answer to today's riddle, click the BasilVersary button again to see if you were correct. - if you are the first person to get the correct answer, you will get a 10k nx code! - even if you're not the first person you will get a letter which is automatically added to the scrambled motto below. - you must collect all 31 letters to be able to enter to win the netbook computer (payed for by mrbasil). - even if you missed a day you can still get the letter for it. The BasilVersary button will show all the riddles for previous days. - if you have a missed a day, just click the BasilVersary button and solve the riddles that you've missed. - once you correctly solve a riddle, it'll be crossed off from the BasilVersary button list and will appear on the scrambled motto below. - the scrambled motto has the words in the correct order, but the letters are all jumbled. So if the letters were bials amkert the answer would be 'basil' 'market'. Easy, right? - you have until October 31 to solve all the riddles. - to prevent abuse (people signing up for multiple accounts), only members that have been on BasilMarket for 3 months or more will be eligible. - enjoy! |

| yeah i agree with the second poster, should have all the people who answered correctly thrown into a drawing after the riddle is over for the day and picked randomly cuz some people cant be up this late :/ some actually have something called WORK and a REAL LIFE and it's a little unfair to them :/ EDIT: and if you say- well if they work then why are they trying to win nx when they can afford it- maybe they can but maybe there are no sellers where they live or something like that, there's always something in the way; an obstacle so i think it'd be besat for the random selection idea |
