disorder or darksight?

k, makin a bandit, searched back a few pages and didnt see this topic, prolly really old one but here goes... disorder or darksight? alot of guides say disorder, but dont you have to cast that on each enemey you encounter? isnt that kinda like a pages' threaten skill? with darksight can you turn it on and off or have to wait it out no matter wut? any advice would help tons.

Darksite if you want to do PQ. Disorder if you don't want to do PQ.

not all guides.... anyways, disorder is not as good as dark sight since it will be a pain to hit something first and then attack it when you can just attack it in the first place... dark sight on the other hand is more useful since you can still run at a pretty good rate at lvl 18 and in a party it could work with haste...so from my experiences, dark sight is a lot more useful than disorder hope this helps

Ignore them, not a single one is a bandit.* So what do they know? Dark Sight is a fabulus move. It'll stop touch damage, and it's lovely for saving your life in that tight pinch. Also, from what I hear, it's recommended in Ludi PQ's for a certain part involving golem that I gess 1hitko you. Wierd huh? Anyways, if you get any dark sight, MAX IT. Some people say, well, haste will cancel it out and I can stand normal speed. Well, they were lying. Let me playout a little situation. Joe : Hehe.. I got lvl. 10 Dark Sight. And I have maxed haste :D Joe : -uses haste- (140% speed) Joe : -uses dark sight- (70% speed) Joe : -says lots of angry curses o.o- That sucks really, but that's the way it works. Disorder is fabulous as well though. First of all, it stops magic attacks. That's really awesomeh if you're at Macis with a mob lightning'ing away. Not cool <_< Disorder, than BAM! No more magic attacks. But that's no reason to max it. In your later levels however, disorder can take away 100+ touch damage. That's an absolute dream at somethingl ike Macis. That's because your tactic for killing should be to bump into the Macis getting touch damage. Now do you seriously want to down that many pots? NO! Just disorder x3 Personally, I got max both. And I finished it off with 1 nimble. It's not that good of a move anyways >_> *Qingyu = bandit. But I doubt he has maxed disorder.

im not sure this is great, but this is what i plan to do (feel free to comment) currently, i hav maxed ds and nimble-2, dark-3? 4? im gonna max darksight, get nimble to 15, and put the rest on l7 (should be about 3 or 4 pts) just to screw around with when im bored anyway, i think darksight will come in handy more then disorder i dont know if i can explain why, but it just seems like a more useful skill btw, you dont hav to wait out the time limit for darksight if you hit the attack button, you exit darksight mode

Forget about L7, jut forget, you're not going to carry around a garnier etc. to "just screw around". Dump that into disorder. Then, personally, nimble isn't the best you could get. You could probably spill points over from that into disorder. Even more so though, I <3 my maxed Dark Sight + Disorder

dark sight is kinda of a waste of sp for bandits just do disorder it helps out a lot trust me my friend told me lvl 73 chief bandit

Whats the point of disorder if your just gonna kill the monster anyways? I personally put 10 on my dark sight since im a sin. It would really depend on your job. Please don't put points on both L7 and Double Stab. If your gonna choose a class be decisive. Get disorder is your a bandit, since if your a sin you would have to go up close to the monster to hit it which sins dont do. Get dark sight if your a sin which is basically helps you evade monsters.

The Point of Disorder is to Take less damage from touch, plus As Banditoness said it Stops Annoying Magict Atk which is really helpfull, disorder has saved my life plenty of times. The monster forgets you and moves away when you use disorder given you that will advantage when your in trouble, Yes darksight is good too i do have to admit that, it is also a ife saver, but as soon as it wears off the monsters will be right back at you attacking again. So Yes They are both worth getting

bandits have alot of skill decisions to make, and they will always have ups and downs. but since i guess there is a new fourth job skill that allows you to attack in darksight for a limited time, it would do you good to max it, and put your remaining rogue points in disorder to get rid of lupins, tauros, or any magic counters. it really is helpful, if you use it. especially for sins, actually. any enemy you can't jump over, or evade totally, up close, you can disorder and it will run away, giving you plenty of range to throw, heal, etc. disorder is great maxed, but i think the immediate effects are more important than the stat decrease--the enemy backing off, or halting it's magic attack.
