Quick question on potential stats

i have been scrolling my scar helm (epic) trying to get 6 %dex at least. i have done probably about 15 cubes but no dex%. I always end up with with 6%str or 6%int. in addition, i sometimes c the exact potential stats i have received before on the same exact scar. Is potential % random or is it affected by class ( i am a bowman btw)?

My Characters: Realfang - 106 Broa Ranger

It is random, I did the same thing on my gloves, after every other cube they gave me either 6% LUK or 4% INT, but I finally got 3%all stats. I plan on redoing it when I hit 120 (whenever that is >.>)

Its all random, Ive used 127 on my clean 3 lined earrings still epic.... my zhelm 99 times and it got unique
