Are you kidding me? Before the patch, I only had the regular Vista periodic lag (0.5 second per 10~15 seconds, approximately), but now, I seem to lag off every 3 seconds, for a 1 second period. Which is pretty freaking horrible. I found that one of the only ways to solve it is to reconnect, but every other time I do, my Maple shuts down and tells me that I've been disconnected from the login server. If I can run Call of Duty 4 with better FPS than MapleStory with the graphics turned on low, something is wrong. Help, anyone? i never really noticed those lags, till i started killing monsters that 1hit me.. and yeah they really need to fix it

It does bring down the lag, but not by so much. After you're done, when you turn it off, it brings back those programs. OT: Nexon lied. What a surprise.

Well I'm on win xp and I started lagging (today) while doing Hoblin PQ however after doing 3 - 4 runs re-logged and I was fine after that for the remaining hours I was logged on for questing at ToT. So I'm a bit confused as to what causes the lag :O
