Asking a girl to homecoming

Well on collab day (it's like an early release or a late start) I will ask a girl to homecoming which is next Thursday. Well since it's a late start I will walk to a florist shop near my school. I will write a song and notes on it. On the back of the sheet music will have a not asking her to homecoming and after I play her the song on piano I will give her the rose. I was wondering of this was a good way any other creative ways?

Personally, i think songs for asking someone out is lame. (Embarrasses them+Pure pressure to say no) I would better save it for an anniversary.

I know this will sound stupid but, what is homecoming? Is it a college event or something? Oh and don't do the song thing. It feels kinda corny. Do somesing casual.

If you can play the piano like Mozart, then do it that way, other wise. A simple "Want to go to homecoming with me?" will do.

It's a song made it sounds like canon in D but a little softer by the way the piano is in a small sound proof room in our schools band room so we will be the only two there
