dc and lag issues ruining the game

This has been going on for long enough; I for one can't take it anymore. As is the case with a large of number of vista/windows 7 users, my MapleStory is extremely unstable and crashes/disconnects when I cc, leave a shop open, am in heavily populated areas, try boss runs and change maps too many times. When playing on a normal day I need to relaunch maplestory at least once every 30 minutes for various reasons. To make matters worse it seems that with every patch the frequency at which my maplestory crashes gets higher. With the new patch, I can't even leave a shop open in the FM without it dc'ing after 5 minutes. As a result, the shop permits I purchased are going to waste and I can't merch anymore, something I liked to do. Also, if my maplestory has been running for longer than 5 minutes, I dc at least 50% of the time when I cc to any other channel. Not to mention that it's virtually impossible for me to complete a MoN, Zakum or any other high leveled PQ without maplestory glitching. For a high leveled player like me, this kind of kills the game. I even get new, fun problems since the new version. If my maplestory has been running for too long, I start getting lag spikes which makes me die or fail a pq. At first, when I started getting these disconnection problems, I expected them to be fixed eventually. Instead they are just getting worse. It's been far too long since this is happening and it's ruining the game for me and many others. This isn't an isolated problem since I know many people are getting it. I would like to know that something is being done about it but somehow I doubt it greatly. By the way, don't even get started with "your computer sucks", this PC cost me a lot and it can run far greater games that maplestory with virtually no lag or problems. That about concludes it. Any of these problems would be annoying but all of them put together makes me want to quit a game which I otherwise like.

I'm glad I don't have this problem, at least. I would log a ticket to nexon about all these issues but we all know that's really useless. In any case they'd be really clueless to not notice them. They probably know about the dcing problems since a long time ago but are too incompetent and unprofessional to do anything about it. My best suggestion if you're dissatisfied with the state of the game is to stop encouraging them (don't buy NX).

These are known issues, and there is no fix since it is not your computer. All we can do is hope that they're not total idiots and that they will fix it soon.

Usually within about 30 mins. It's impossible to sell anything without a mushy now, which is kinda annoying and is losing me mesos since I have to pay for the mush.

Lag spikes should be gone, you can get lag spikes if your graphic card heats up and If you think its so bad how about you code the patch for them? Coding takes a long time to process and complete, of which with people demanding more new stuff they don't have time to code the patch in. So lets say it takes about 3~6 months to code a certain patch, but with all the demands they are rushed to 1~3 months or so. Don't complain since you're just playing for fun, complain if you know you can be a better computer technician than them. I'll see how bad it is when I patch it tmr, since i never play on the weekdays.

The hardest part is probably to find the source of the problem. Nexon would need to find the common points between all pc's where this occurs and go from there. If these problems were occurring in a game with a more professional company [i.e. in WoW], it would already be fixed by now. People are paying for this game, not just paying once but giving them constant income. In exchange we expect constant service.
