i would like to start saying off that simply put, my friends hate me. why, you ask? because i was being a jerk and was too aggressive while playing volleyball yesterday afternoon. now i know that i started it, but it was also their fault too. they angered me. i replied with nasty comments and they did the same as well. when i say "they" i mean one, but the one told her other friend to hate me as well. however, i have to say i made some nasty comments in general to them. (mostly going towards the first girl) now i'm feeling really depressed and left out because i just lost two very good friends, and was wondering how to solve a problem like that. i want to apologize, but i just can't tell myself to follow through. i'm planning currently to just wait it out and let their hate for me mellow down, then apologize, but right now, i want some other helpful options. can you please help me, basil?

maybe basil isn't the best place to find advice judging from previous posts. Maybe let things cool down. Either way make the apology to both girls. Doing so is the right thing, and at least you'll have tried. Maybe bring in a mutual friend to help mediate? nice hair, btw
