Yeah, so I've noticed alot of hype about One Piece. OP is my fav manga, actually the only manga I've read, but that was a few years back.. It took them a month to release a book, and I therefore lost interest, however I still wish to read them all when I have the time. BUT! I remember that the last book I read was when Ruffy (is that his name?) and his crew were up in the sky, and there was some sort of thunder-God.. aaand, what happen then? I think it was book 3X or something. Gimme a short outline ;o. Also, I keep reading comments that they that the crew is finally back... WAH HAPPEN TO THE CREW? :O Give me all the juicy info :]

His name is Luffy. ;-) In the anime (and spoilers): Short version: Big bad thundergod wasn't so nice, Luffy and his crew kicked his butt and everyone lived happily ever after. They also found a poneglyph-thingy, which Gol D. Roger had written on. After that were two more arcs, the Water 7 Arc and name-slipped-my-mind for a second arc. They got two new crew members, Franky, who is a cyborg and runs around in swimming trunks. And Brooke, who is a swordfighthing skeleton muscisian. Some stuff happened and they split apart to train for two years (which is a four-week hiatus in the manga) and now they got back.

I suggest to go watch the anime of one piece, its really good and from that thunder god part to the whitebeard arc will be like 200-300 episodes ...>.>

Thank you! but.. is that it? Nothing else? ;O.. Imma have to read them all! Jakazu , they dont show the anime in my country.

[/quote] There are a few minor side stories and I made it sound a whole lot less exciting/enjoyable then it actually is. And it's currently in the 3rd arc after Skypiea. And they don't show the anime in my country either. You just gotta know where to look. ^_^ Even if they did, I wouldn't watch it. Most dubbed anime is horrible.

You should start from after water 7, that's where the real action starts. Just wikipedia the chapter list to find out where water 7 ends, and the battle at marineford chapter/arc starts

It was totally dragged out and became more and more boring towards the end. I used to watch anime till that arc, and I remember just forwarding most of it
