So, what languages are you learning? What languages do you want to learn? What languages do you know? Okay, obviously I know English. I'm learning German and French I wouldn't mind learning hebrew IF IT WASN'T SO HARD. It'd be easier if I used the same alphabet, and they didn't read backwards. Now to show my failure French skills - Bonjour! Poule vous Francais? ... Je'mappelle Adam, comment tu j'appelle? ... Comment vous? ... Je vais bien, merci beaucoup! Au revoir! English ONLY. I used to know French when I was younger. I refuse to learn any language other than English now though, if someone can't speak English they don't deserve to speak with me IMO.

Uhm, I'm learning english at school, but it's almost my final year. I study arabic for 5 years now. And I learned a but of french. Hebrew is my 1st language. I'd like to know Japanese or German or something

Here in Holland it's common to be quadlingual(?). o.O Most people learn/know German, French, English and of course, Dutch. Some people also learn old Greek/Latin. =/ That being said, the only language I get good grades in is English. Don't like German and French and I just completely hate Dutch. To take the dot challenge: Bonjour. Je parle Fran�ais. (I think you meant that o.O) Comment tu t'apelle? ... J'mapelle Jackie. ... Je suis bien. Au revoir. Been awhile since I actually used/spoke French, so there might be a few errors. =/

I'd like to know Japanese or German or something [/quote] Yeah, your English isn't bad. Hebrew and all those other languages that use symbols are probably the hardest language to learn. Then again, you probably think the opposite, but atleast Israelis and other Hebrew speaking countries learn English, whereas England learns German and French. Also, I recommend you learn German instead of Japanese, as you already know English, and English highly relates to German, with cognates and the same alphabet with different pronouncations.

I'm currently furthering my English study by learning Saussure's linguistic theory. I have a speaking knowledge of Mandarin (but no interest in continuing my written education). I am trying to learn Latin and Greek right now even if they are "dead" languages. I really want to learn Japanese and French, but I have no time. I only want to learn German so I can read "Faust" in its original (which would probably encompass the whole language).

English is my first language. My school's always forced French on me, because I live in Canada, so it wasn't really appealing. I'd like to learn Russian or Icelandic.
