Astronomers have discovered a new planet that closely resembles Earth. Hmmm. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100929/ap_on_sc/us_sci_new_earths Thoughts? For those who don't like to read: Basically, a new planet has been discovered. Wow, many planets are discovered all the time, this isn't new . What is special about this discovery is that this new planet, unofficially named "Zarmina's World", is the closest planet other than Earth that may be habitable. It's classified as a Goldilocks planet because its conditions are 'just right' for life.

I read about this on Yahoo too, it was really interesting. I mean, it's like 0.00000000000000000000000000000001% chance we wouldn't find a planet that wouldn't have similar traits like Earth, but it's still very interesting.

It probably wont be anywhere near humanoid. Life can evolve in infinite directions, and in ways we can't even imagine are possible. So the odds of life there being intelligent or humanoid are astronomical.
